Barek and Baguette: sandwichgasm

So this place. . . .Barek and Baguette.  I love this place.

The first sandwich I had from this place was the Turkey arugula.  I was at work and I said, "I am having a sandwich-gasm."  6 months in and I have never turned back from my food lust.

Oh my these sandwiches. Oh my oh my.   So this place is good.  The food is good!
The service is very very friendly.  The woman who manages or owns it is very kind.

So here is the set up you order at the counter and then they bring whatever you order to you.
There is a high chair.
There are regular height tables and a handfull of bistro height tables.
The bathrooms don't have a changing table.

But really it's the food that gets me.  The sandwiches are great. The Byreks are wonderful.  The fries are pretty good; the garlic fries are even better (but not as good as a mariners game!), the lentil soups are good- but not extraordinary.
The friendlyness is nice.

It is located on 12th and Columbia in the Capital Hill neighborhood near SeattleU and just down the hill from Swedish Hospital.

Here is their website.

Apparently they are also located in Bellevue Square.
